Analysis of Seepage into Ground-Water System
Publication: Journal of the Hydraulics Division
Volume 99, Issue 7
Abstract
This paper presents analytical methods developed by the writer to simulate seepage into a ground-water system from a range of geometries. The case study chosen demonstrates seepage through a channel with impervious side walls and a permeable bottom. The solution to the problem was obtained through application of the hodograph technique. The physical planes and conformal mapping leading to the solution of this problem are shown.
