Abstract
For analysis of flow around a vertical sheet pile in homogeneous anisotropic soil, it is necessary to investigate the flow characteristics associated with an inclined sheet pile embedded in homogeneous isotropic porous media. As such, the quantities of seepage, pressure distribution and exit gradient for an inclined sheet pile embedded in a homogeneous isotropic porous medium of finite depth are determined using the Schwarz-Christoffel transformation. Numerical results are presented for different angles of inclination of sheet piles with and without impervious blankets.
