Turbulence Effect on Drag of Angular Blunt Bodies

Abstract
While the writers were doing research on flow past rough boundaries, it was suspected that the character of free stream turbulence on the flow approaching a body may have an influence on the drag of the body. To check this effect, some exploratory tests were done on cylinders and parallelepipeds. It was found that turbulence does indeed affect the drag of bodies of certain length to breadth ratios.
