Waterhammer Analysis by Analog Computers
Publication: Journal of the Hydraulics Division
Volume 93, Issue 1
Abstract
The basic partial differential equations for unsteady flow are adapted to a standard analog computer. Two waterhammer examples are computed and compared to both experimental and precise analytical results. The analog solution is shown to be accurate. Solution of waterhammer problems on the analog computer provides a design tool of great value.
