Data Analysis from Stepwise Throttled Pump Tests

Abstract
A method for analyzing drawdown data from a pump test in which the discharge was changed in abrupt steps is described. The drawdown curve of the varied discharge test is transformed into a synthetic curve for constant discharge, from which transmissibility and storage coefficients can be computed by conventional procedures.
