Abstract
Physical and climatological features of Lake Ontario basin; effects of climate and topography on supply of water into Lake Ontario; factors causing variation in water supplies; seasonal and areal distribution of precipitation, temperature and runoff; flow records of tributaries of Lake Ontario; possibility of long and short-term forecasting is discussed.
