Abstract
Study of mass oscillation phenomena in surge system, which includes pressure conduit and two restricted orifice type surge tanks in tandem independently connected to main conduit; system supplies water to reaction type turbine; comprehensive study by digital computer of total problem of transients is feasible, but machine programming job of great scope will be required before fruitful results are available.
