Abstract
Magnitude and characteristics of forces resulting from oscillatory waves on submerged barge-like structures; wave profiles and variation with time of resulting horizontal and vertical forces for various wave heights, wave periods, and locations of barge with respect to water surface; effects of rounding sides and of inclusion of slot in one end of barge; horizontal force measurements for flat plate.
