Divided Flow Through a Divergent Inlet Conduit
Publication: Journal of the Hydraulics Division
Volume 83, Issue 6
Abstract
Determination of characteristics of divided flow phenomena is investigated; one model is conduit with constant cross-section having opening perpendicular to its length; other is conduit with divergent inlet having side opening at end of divergent; analysis is developed by means of free stream line theory, assuming two-dimensional irrotational flow of incompressible fluid.
