Abstract
Paper presents observational data, evaluated on basis of significant wave, as in SMB forecasting method, in effort to increase precision of wave forecasting and eliminate subjectivity of determining fetch and wind duration; graphical procedure for general case of moving fetches; replacing graphical integrations by step-wise numerical integrations, performed on high speed digital computer; bibliography on forecasting wave height and periods.
