Abstract

New methods and practices in surveying are now ready to fulfill present needs throughout all States in expanding highway construction program; ground survey methods cannot be supplanted, but can and should be, supplemented by photogrammetry and aerial surveys to attain better surveys and highways in less time with fewer engineers.
