Earthquake Stability of Cohesive Slopes

Abstract
The analysis of the behavior of a slope during an earthquake involves the determination of (1) the yield acceleration or the acceleration at which the slope begins to undergo irrecoverable deformations and (2) the distribution of velocity and displacement that occurs at accelerations in excess of yield.
