Abstract
A type of civil engineering problem involving the flow of groundwater is solved by making use of potential theory, elliptic integrals, the theory of complex variables, and conformal mapping. The results are summarized in chart form for ready use in analysis, allowing a rapid solution of a problem that requires much time and effort by conventional methods.
