Abstract
Computer programs originally written to solve electrical network problems can be used to solve estuary pollution problems. These are simple to use and efficient in calculating the frequency response of the estuary. Furthermore, sensitivities of the solution to parameter changes can be readily calculated using a method developed for electrical networks. The sensitivities are then used to indicate required measurement accuracy of the fundamental coefficients of the mathematical model.
