Wind and Snow Load Statistics for Probabilistic Design
Publication: Journal of the Structural Division
Volume 107, Issue 7
Abstract
Structural reliability analyses and probability-based limit states design require statistical descriptions of structural load and load effect variables. Frequently, data are only available for the basic variables (e.g., wind speed, ground snow load, etc.) from which the loads are calculated through mathematical relationships.
