Abstract
Tensioned structures are becoming increasingly popular for covering large column free areas on account of efficient utilization of construction material, speedy construction and economy. Interaction of cable truss and network roofs with the supporting structure modelled as a spring is studied in this paper for a variation of design parameters. Both symmetrical and unsymmetrical loading conditions are considered.
