Publication: Journal of the Structural Division
Volume 106, Issue 8
Abstract
A finite element procedure is used to analyze the behavior of planar structures such as shear walls. The analyses include evaluation of a number of factors such as tapering, aspect ratio, and different mesh orientations on the free vibration characteristics of a simple shear wall structure.
