Extreme Wind Speeds at 129 Airport Stations

Abstract
Information is presented on extreme wind speeds at 129 airport stations in the contiguous United States at which reliable records are available over a number of consecutive years. This information is provided to serve as basic documentation from which appropriate decisions can be made on values of design wind speeds to be specified: (1) In building codes and standards; and (2)on projects that warrant special consideration from the wind loading standpoint.
