Analysis of Fabricated Tubular Columns

Abstract

A fabricated tubular steel column as commonly used in offshore structures contains imperfections that are far more complicated than the hot-rolled members such as channel, angle and wide flange, because it involves a more complicated manufacturing process than that of the hot-rolled members.
