Abstract
In order to protect safety related equipment in a nuclear power plant from damage during severe environmental events, nuclear power plant structures are designed to resist the impact of postulated tornado-generated missiles. The United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has proposed an interim list of credible missiles that are representative of construction site debris.
