Approximate Solution of Beam-Columns

Abstract
K Jezek, in his paper Naherungsberechnung der Tragkraft Exzentrisch Gedruckter Stahlastabe (Stahlbau, vol.8, p.89, 1935), approximates interaction equations of an eccentrically loaded column of rectangular cross section. Herein the same idea will be extended to eccentrically as well as laterally loaded beam-columns with more complicated shapes of cross section.
