Datalink: A Structural Laboratory Data System

Abstract
A new DATALINK system for the automatic acquisition, reduction, storage and display of experimental data in a structural laboratory is described. The parts of the system are a data acquisition system, an IBM 1620 computer, and a problem-oriented language computer program. After a description of the equipment and operating procedures, two example experimental problems are presented.
