Abstract
Test data are presented for wind load distribution on hemispheres and domes, where the models were placed on the floor of the wind tunnel in a boundary layer flow. Three hemispheres tests were conducted. Two tests were made on hemispheres of different size with different Reynold's numbers and differing relationship to the boundary layer; both models were spun and lightly polished. A third hemisphere test was made with an artificially roughened surface. Four domes (spun and lightly polished) of varying span to rise ratio were also tested. The results are presented in the form of pressure coefficient contour maps of the surface.
