Abstract
Method for solving stresses in straight staircases, comprising of 2 flights and landing and supported only on lower and upper floors, is presented; method presented is based on concept of statically determinate structure, and is basically similar to Liebenberg's; torsional moments are then calculated as those moments causing compatibility in deformation.
