Solution of an Unusual Subsurface Drainage Problem

Abstract
The inner ring road of the city of Antwerp, Belgium will form part of the E-3 autoroute from Stockholm to Lisbon. The horizontal alinement was determined mainly by the Belgian Ministry of Public Works with the intention of relieving the congested city centre.
