Abstract
Comparison of problems of irrigating in humid with those of arid area; predicting date of occurrence of drought is major problem in humid area; developing stream flow for irrigation involves drainage requirements; crop response, being measure of success, varies considerably with data of plant and date of drought; labor requirements are function of design field size, and cropping system.
