Parallel Motion of Corrugated Plates

Abstract
The study of Couette flow is important in many situations involving relative motion of two surfaces. In this paper, we shall study the effects due to slight axial corrugation of two parallel plates. These grooves may be intentional, or may be caused by wear or imprecise machining.
