Internal Hydraulic Jump in Co-Current Stratified Flow

Abstract
Yih and Guha made an important contribution to the study of the internal hydraulic jump of two-layered flow. They did not give criteria for the existence of internal hydraulic jumps nor an explicit form of the energy loss of a jump. Criteria for internal hydraulic jumps are presented herein.
