Circular Plate with Supported Edge-Beam

Abstract
The flexure of a circular plate with an edge-beam is presented. The edge-beam is either simply supported or constrained against rotation, and the plate is subjected to a point load. Exact solutions are presented. The stiffening effect produced by the edge-beam is assessed.
