Abstract
Many engineers have difficulty in fully understanding the meaning of the Navier-Stokes equations, or at least one term in it. This term will be explained herein and a derivation will be given that may not be theoretically fully rigorous, but that will appear to be more plausible to the engineer than the usual derivation.
