Abstract
Simple approximate design considers all factors and variables that can be evaluated by means of engineering tools available; load-temperature-shrinkage principle in design; it is shown that pavement thickness of 7.0 in., with 0.5% interior longitudinal hard grade steel will be sufficient to carry 16,000 lb design wheel load.
