Abstract
A significant step has been taken in obtaining agreement on the purpose, concepts, and relationship of urban planning to the numerous engineering design and construction operations involved in the urban development. The development of the definition of the term urban planning has done much to obtain this agreement. This report brings together the planning engineers and the large number of municipal and other engineers engaged in the action stage of urban development.
