Abstract
The dicision process of an international construction concern regarding the acquistion of a dredging comapny is described. A detailed market and investment analysis was performed by the staff of the concern. The investment decision process practiced by the concern is described. The investment decision of the concern is verified applying the concepts of portfolio theory and utility theory.
