Analysis of Schedule Simulations

Publication: Journal of the Construction Division
Volume 103, Issue 3

Abstract

The most viable method of forecasting the information required by the scheduling analyst when dealing with probabilistic networks is simulation. The major concern with this technique is the number of iterations required to produce viable decision-making information. The results of this study provide a basis for the selection of a reasonable number of iterations and are based on analysis of actual networks utilized to control projects of a probabilistic nature.
