Specifications—Design Professionals' Forgotten Challenge
Publication: Journal of the Construction Division
Volume 102, Issue 2
Abstract
Traditional specification writing methods by cut-and-tape are virtually impossible to keep fully corrected for each job. Numerous modern production methods are available, but they are only part of the solution. Deficiencies in the present systems can be corrected by the use of qualified specification engineers, properly budgeted time and costs, and the development of a regular information feedback system from construction inspectors.
