Abstract
A characteristic completion versus time curve is described for the concrete formwork activity in building construction. Square feet of wooden formwork weekly production were analyzed for nine projects. The analyses resulted in similar S-shaped curves. Regression analysis produced a characteristic curve which is a model of formwork activity progress on a building project. The use of the model is considered for planning, monitoring, and controlling the progress of an activity.
