Blending Natural Earth Deposits for Least Cost

Abstract
Materials for granular embankment or base course in highway construction can be obtained by blending natural earth deposits; mathematical theory of linear model programming is used to determine quantities of each available natural earth deposit to be blended so as to produce desired material at least cost; limitations of linear programming.
