Publication: Issues in Engineering: Journal of Professional Activities
Volume 106, Issue 2
Abstract
Early in their careers civil engineers normally become project engineers on small projects. An example is used in this paper to illustrate how project management can be used with relative ease for such projects. The civil engineer who becomes a project engineer has entered the ranks of management and should start thinking like a manager. He should start training himself in management and with some approaches start applying the acquired skill in his daily work.
