Experimental Investigation of Model Diaphragm Wall

Abstract

The construction of cantilever or tied-back diaphragm walls is very common today in the field of lateral support of deep excavations. Large projects have provided the means of gaining experience, while model or well instrumented “in-situ” tests have supplied the necessary information for subsequent developments in general practice.
