Volume 105, Issue 2
Abstract
In the analysis of slope safety, critical variables such as soil density, pore pressure, cohesion intercept, and friction angle are often considered to be known functions of time and space. In other cases, these functions are parametrized and the parameters are fixed to conservative values or treated as random variables.
