Abstract
Prepared by the Geo-Institute of ASCE. This collection contains 40 invited papers on the engineering design, analysis, construction, and monitoring of foundations. The volume is assembled in honor of Clyde N. Baker, Jr., P.E., S.E., Dist.M.ASCE. For more than 50 years Clyde Baker has made distinguished contributions to the advancement of foundation engineering, beginning with the early Chicago high-rise buildings through to to the world's current record-setting skyscrapers.
