The following corrections should be made to the original paper:
In Table 2, the Maupin (2001) reference should be changed to Maupin (2000). The data was sourced from Maupin (2000) for use in the analysis described in the original paper. Both Maupin (2000) and Maupin (2001) describe asphalt concrete permeability testing studies from Virginia in the early 2000s. This substitution should also be applied to the legend of Figs. 5, 6, and 8 and line 8 on page 174. The revised wording of line 8 on page 174 is given as follows:
Fig. 5. Permeability versus air voids (full database)
Fig. 6. Coefficient of determination for various effective particle sizes for the individual data subsets
Fig. 8. Permeability versus RPS (full database)
“…Kanitpong et al. (2001), and Maupin (2000), there is an upswing…”
Versions of Figs. 5, 6, and 8 with Maupin (2000) displayed in the legend are also provided, and the date of the Hewitt reference is also corrected from 1990 to 1991 (i.e., Hewitt 1991) in the new legend of Fig. 6. Maupin (2000) should appear in the reference list on page 176. The full references are provided in this correction. The authors regret these errors and apologize to the readers of the Journal of Materials in Civil Engineering.
