Richard G. Weingardt is chairman of Richard Weingardt Consultants, Inc., Denver, CO. He is the author of 10 books. Two of his latest, Circles in the Sky: The Life and Times of George Ferris and Engineering Legends, both published by ASCE Press, feature the exploits of great American structural engineers who had significant influence on the progress of the nation.
