The following corrections should be noted for errors resulting from the production process of the paper:
1.
In the title and the abstract of the paper, the term “multimodal-process data mining” should be replaced by “multimodal process data mining,” which refers to the “mining of process data that is of different modes.” Removing the hyphen between “multimodal” and “process” will help better convey the main contributions of this work, which were aimed at incorporating process data of multiple modes (i.e., types or nature) in knowledge-based simulation.
2.
On p. 8, under the subsection “Experiment 2: One Loader and Multiple Dump Trucks, with Service Area,” the statement “The developed k-means algorithm successfully detected two clusters (loading and dumping areas) and found the centroids as shown in Table 4” should be replaced by “The developed k-means algorithm successfully detected five clusters and found the centroids as shown in Table 4.” Experiment 2 was intended to be more complex than Experiment 1 with the goal of validating if the k-means algorithm was able to detect multiple clusters (i.e., work zones, routes) and identify the type of activity that was taking place in each, in a complete earthmoving cycle.
ASCE regrets these errors.
