Editor’s Note

Professors Thomas Harmon of Washington University and Björn Täljsten of the Technical University of Denmark have rotated off the International Editorial Board of the Journal of Composites for Construction. Professors Harmon and Taljsten were appointed to the Board in November 2002 and August 2005, respectively. Both have provided valuable reviews and guidance on papers relating to the repair and strengthening of reinforced concrete structures with fiber-reinforced polymer composites. I thank both colleagues for their endeavors to uphold the quality of the Journal.

Professors Maria Lopez de Murphy of the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at Penn State University (University Park, Pennsylvania) and Luke A. Bisby of the Civil Engineering Department at Queens University (Kingston, Ontario) have been appointed to two-year positions on the Board. Both bring valuable expertise on experimental and numerical modeling aspects of fiber-reinforced polymer repair and strengthening systems. Professor Lopez has a special interest in fracture and durability, whereas Professor Bisby’s special interest is in fire and thermal cycling response.
