Approaching OD Trip Volumes Based on Inverse T-V Equation

Abstract
An inverse trip distribution-volume of link flow (T-V) equation is derived by the introduction of a new concept, the pass through coefficient. Based on this, a new approach to calculate OD trip volumes from the observed link flows is presented along with the calibration of the related factors.
