Compendium of Design Office Problems
Publication: Journal of Structural Engineering
Volume 118, Issue 12
Abstract
With the principal aim of resolving long‐standing questions of designers, the paper presents detailed solutions and references for a large number of design problems for steel building structures. Practical utilization is emphasized, to the effect that the reader will be able to use the solutions directly. Each problem is listed separately, with a detailed discussion of the technical subject matter, and one or more relevant references provided as part of the solution. In addition, topics currently under study are given, as are subjects in need of investigation.
