Terminology for Describing On‐Farm Irrigation Water Demands
Publication: Journal of Irrigation and Drainage Engineering
Volume 114, Issue 2
Abstract
A terminology is presented with which all variety of farm irrigation water demands may be identified and described. Only the relationship between the water demands and the conveyance system supplying the water is considered. An examination of previous classification efforts is described. From the results of these studies a comprehensive terminology is developed and demonstrated.
