Stability Analysis of Flexible Anchored Bulkheads

Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the depth of penetration of sheet piles necessary to provide stability against overturning. Previously developed equations of eqiulibrium are used. Results are given for a two-parameter and a one-parameter soil.
