Addressing Expansive Soils

Abstract

Research conducted as part of the construction of a highway in the Chinese autonomous region of Guangxi Zhuangzu led to the development of several techniques for stabilizing embankments and cut slopes containing subgrade that primarily consists of expansive soil.
